Hero Movie Review : This week is one of the most exciting ones for Bollywood as two star kids – Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty will make their Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s production venture. Aditya Pancholi’s son and Suneil Shetty’s daughter will star in Nikhil Advani’s directorial venture, Hero Movie, which is a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 classic that starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri. I saw the Hero Movie and here’s my take on the new version of the classic film.Watching Hero Movie is like refreshing your Facebook timeline, hoping for a like or a comment. Except nothing happens. The Hero Movie moves from one bizarre scene to the other making you realise that those Candy Crush invites are NOT the most irritating thing in the world.

"Hero" is a romantic movie directed by Nikhil Advani and produced under Salman Khan's banner Salman Khan Films (SKF). The film marks the Bollywood debut of Sooraj and Athiya.The pre-release buzz surrounding "Hero" is good and with Salman promoting the movie with the lead actors the buzz has increased considerably. But the film has failed to live up to the expectations of several critics.According to Tushar P Joshi of BollywoodLife.com, the film doesn't do justice to the potentials of Sooraj and Athiya.The problem lies with the script. It just isn't innovative or fresh enough. Advani plays safe and doesn't offer anything new," he added.Sneha May Francis of Emirates 24/7 said that there is nothing more to "Hero" than Salman's song.Advani's 'Hero' ends up a lengthy, unimaginative remake. Stay away, if you prefer movies that are easy on our senses," she added.
